This is one of those “made my day” stories that crossed the brothers’ and sisters’ desks, and we agreed you would probably dig it, especially at the end.

    This absolutely delightful story is one of the best pieces I ever read! I was so moved that I read it to my tai chi students, who adored it. Your article was a springboard for a discussion on Happiness. Wherever you are Douglas Preston, I am so happy you took the job as the Dalai Lama’s press secretary and would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for sharing your story. P.S.
